Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Benovia opens with a fragrant and attractive strawberry bouquet with notes of red raspberry and just a touch of pistachio nuts. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red raspberry with notes of red plum. I also detected hints of black pepper and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger for some time. This Pinot would pair well with grilled salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby in color, the vibrant raspberry and cola aromas almost leap from the glass. On the palate, the wine's juicy mouthfeel is supported by ample acidity building with wild berry fruit through the mid-palate to the fine grain tannins on the finish.
