Wine Review: This dark straw colored Albarino from Rias Baixas is excellent! It opens with a fragrant white peach and bouquet with hints of lime peel and ginger. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a tasty Anjou pear with notes of mild ginger tea and lime. I also picked up some hints of crushed stone and clover honey in the mix. The finish is dry, and its flavors show very nice length. I would suggest pairing this impressive Albarino with your favorite halibut recipe. Enjoy - Ken
