Wine Review: This is a pretty big and spicy Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza, Argentina. It is dark ruby colored with a complex nose of dark cherry, vanilla, blackberry and cracked black pepper. In the mouth, it is medium plus bodied and savory with lively acidity. It is unfiltered, giving it earthy undertones to the flavor profile of currant, blackberry, plum, and vanilla. The medium finish is dry and has some spicy heat. It would pair well with beef empanadas. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: BenMarco Cabernet Sauvignon is a bright wine with persistent flavors of currant, cassis, plum, plus a hint of herbs and juicy acidity, finishes with firm tannins and very good grip. Pairs with beef, sausages, spiced or grilled pork, veal, rabbit, medium-strong cheeses, and meat-based pasta sauces.
