Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chenin Blanc opens with a pineapple and quince bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and bright. The flavor profile is a spiced pear and pineapple blend with notes of lemon verbena and chamomile tea. I also detected hints of oak and ginger. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. I would pair this with Chenin Blanc with a pan-seared halibut with a lemon butter sauce. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A luminescent golden color, this Old Vine Chenin Blanc expresses a myriad of tropical, peach, pineapple, apple, and honeysuckle aromas which are layered with a touch of oatmeal and spice. The palate follows through with a lavish concentrated fruit core and citrus marmalade that gives way to a rich, yet elegant and coated mouthfeel. The finish is seamless with a lingering, complex aftertaste indicative of its old bush vine origins.
