Wine Review: This pitch black colored Pinot Noir from Belle Glos opens with a rich black cherry and dark chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a concentrated black cherry cordial with notes of black raspberry and oak. I also detected hints of dark chocolate and cola in the background. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors medium tannins stick around for some time. This is a big Pinot that would pair well with cowboy cut prime rib. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep scarlet-red with lush aromas of blackberry bramble, nutmeg and a hint of caramel. The wine is fresh and exuberant in the mouth with sumptuous strawberry jam, ripe black cherry, cranberry and warm gingerbread. Perfectly balanced with refreshing acidity, this wine delivers velvety tannins and a hint of toffee that carries through its long finish.
