Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Beaulieu Vineyard opens with a blackberry and dark chocolate bouquet with a hint of toasted coconut. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth and graceful. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant and black coffee blend with notes of anise and dark chocolate. I also detected hints of clove, blackberry and stony minerality. The finish is dry and its managed dusty tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. I would pair this gem with Roy's rib roast. Enjoy - Ken
