Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from BV opens with a mild cherry and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is red plum and red cherry blend with notes of Clark's teaberry gum. I also detected hints strawberry, vanilla, and some faint earth tones. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair well with pan seared chicken with a cherry-wine pan sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Reserve Pinot Noir is incredibly aromatic and expressive with beautifully balanced, flavorful fruit. Notes of lifted vibrant Bing cherry and fresh blackberry are layered with nuances of red berry cobbler and stewed strawberries. This Pinot Noir is soft and round with good saturation and mid-structure, leading to a voluptuous, silky mouthfeel.
