Wine Review: This opaque and deep magenta colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with red currant and red raspberry tea bouquet with hints of pie crust. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and juicy. The flavor profile is graphite influenced ripe black currant with notes of black plum, black tea, and oak. We also detected hints of clove and stone dust minerality. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. The Panel would pair this Cab with filet mignon with truffle butter and Hungarian goulash. Enjoy – KWGTP
