Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with black currant, black raspberry, and espresso bouquet with hints of mild graphite, black cherry, forest floor and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is a bit edgy and tight but feels smooth. The flavor profile is and black currant and black raspberry blend with notes of cocoa, toasted coconut, and black cherry. We also detected hints of pomegranate and black tea mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and acidity linger and last for quite some time. The Panel would pair this Cab with a tangy pulled pork platter or steak tips. Enjoy – KWGTP
