Wine Review: This very dark ruby Cabernet Sauvignon from Beaulieu is terrific! It opens with a fragrant black currant and black cherry bouquet with notes mocha, wet stone, and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. We also found it to be dense, rich, and savory. The flavor profile is a graphite and black currant blend with notes of red plum and mocha. We also detected hints of Maine wild blueberry. The finish is dry, and its fruit flavors and moderate dusty tannins show very nice length. We would pair this tasty BV Cab with slow cooked braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken and Dave
Winemaker Notes: The wine is dense, strong, and robust, while being supported and balanced with a line of acidity providing great weight and roundness. All leading to a firm, powerful finish with great density, black pepper notes and spice.
