Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Merlot from BV opens with a red currant and red plum bouquet with hints of ripe strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a crushed gravel and red plum blend with hints of cinnamon, faint strawberry, dried herbs and oak. The finish dry and its bold tannins stick around for quite some time. The Panel thought this Merlot would pair well with grilled steak tips, barbecue ribs or a prime rib. Enjoy – KWGTP
