Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Beau Vigne opens with a black currant bouquet with a hint of anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. It is round and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral driven black currant and blueberry blend along with notes of anise. We also detected hints of black tea and oak in the mix. The finish is dry, and its medium tannins fade away nicely. This was liked by all that tried it. We would pair this Cab with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
