Wine Review: This medium garnet colored Pinot Noir from Beau Marchais opens with a very inviting pomegranate and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated mild acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth and very well-balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious red licorice and red plum blend with notes of cinnamon and red cherry. The finish is dry, and its gentle tannins linger and last for a very long time.
