Wine Review: This translucent and bright straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from the Touraine region in the Loire Valley is very good. It opens with a yellow grapefruit and chalky minerality bouquet with hints of nectarine pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and slightly mouthwatering. The flavor profile is mild yellow grapefruit and saline blend with notes of lime zest, nectarine pit, and chalky minerality. I also detected a dash of white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this very good value Sauvignon Blanc with swordfish kabobs. Enjoy - Ken
