Wine Review: This dark straw colored Chardonnay opens with a pleasant pear bouquet with a hint of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely acidic and bright. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple and pear with notes of new oak and a hint of pineapple. The finish is dry and its acidity lingers and lasts long after the wine is gone. This South African Chard is exclusively found at Legal Sea Foods. It would pair nicely with their baked stuffed shrimp casserole. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This elegant Chardonnay displays a bouquet of lifted apricot blossom, lemon and suggestions of vanilla and oak. The palate shows prominent pineapple and ripe pear characters, interlaced with a chalky acidity. This wine is creamy and nutty with a soft refined palate that finishes with great intensity.
