Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Barham Mendelsohn opens with a red cherry, and earthy forest floor bouquet with hints of teaberry, Clark bar, and rhubarb. On the palate, this wine is just medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, delicate, very smooth, and fresh. The flavor profile is cherry-cola and loam blend with notes of POM juice, mushrooms, and red plum. We also detected hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is dry, and its light tannins and flavors fade away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with a bison burger or duck breast. Enjoy – KWGTP
