Wine Review: Crisp and lively, this Sauvignon Blanc from the Sonoma County is a medium straw color, and has aromas of ripe pear, banana, white peach, kumquat, wet granite, and jasmine. Wonderful silky and textured mouthfeel on the palate, it is quite round, well-balanced, and dry with medium-plus acidity and medium-minus body. I found flavors of white peach, ruby grapefruit, chalky minerality and ginger with notes of lemongrass, honeydew melon, and passionfruit. There's a nice dry, long finish. This versatile Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with a variety of foods including sushi or chicken piccata. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc opens with a fragrant nose of kiwi-lime, apple, honeydew melon and white peach, with a touch of vanilla brioche. Bright acidity and juicy green apple flavors are coupled with lemon-lime and ginger root in this refreshing wine.
