Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Banshee is a crowd-pleaser. It opens with a light citrus bouquet along with melon and floral notes. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, crisp, round and slightly dry with integrated acidity and minerality. The flavor profile is lemon, pear and green apple blend with notes of lime, wet-stone and some hints of herbs. The peasant dry finish lingers and fades away nicely. I would recommend pairing this Sauvignon Blanc with pan seared scallops in white wine and herb butter sauce. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: This 2019 Sauvignon Blanc opens with a fragrant nose of tropical fruits, pineapple and dried guava. Flavors of zesty lime, rich lemon curd and a wonderful minerality lead to a luscious, round mid-palate. A beautifully balanced and acid driven wine with citrus zest and a hint of sea salt that surprises at every sip.
