Wine Review: The 2019 Banshee Rose opens up with notes of red grapefruit followed by notes of candied tangerine zest and raspberry. The palate continues the theme of citrus and berry fruits, but you can tell that the flavors are starting to fade. The finish is has a tea-like astringency that is noticeable. All in all, the wine is still together but I would drink it sooner than later. It would pair well with a blackened salmon with a citrus glaze. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Mendocino County Rosé is a lovely shade of pale salmon with aromas of rose water, salinity and fresh picked strawberries. Bright flavors of juicy cantaloupe and honeydew melon are highlighted by a touch of Meyer lemon. Racy acidity and elegance are balanced perfectly in this dry, crisp Rosé.
