Wine Review: This dark ruby colored entry-level Italian red blend opens with a pleasant black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, fruity and flavorful. Those flavors are black cherry and gentle plum with hints of minerality, light old oak and black currant. The finish is dry and its gentle mild tannins are easy going. This red wine is a real quaffer. It is food friendly and a great value. Pair it with Bertucci’s Pucillo pizza. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Intense ruby red. Bouquet: Fragrant, with dark fruit and floral nuances. Taste: Medium-bodied, with black cherry and tart plum flavors and hints of spice. Ideal with a wide range of dishes such as roasts, game, pastas and cheese.
