Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Tuscan blend opens with an inviting blueberry bouquet with a hint of blackberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced, friendly and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant with hints of oak, mild blackberry, anise and a touch of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for quite some time. Decant this wine and serve it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep and intense mauve red. Gentle aromas of vanilla, tobacco and coffee, with hints of cherry jam and prunes. Taste: Harmonious with soft, well-balanced tannins. Persistent finish and a great potential for aging. Perfect with red meats, wild game and aged cheeses.
