Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored red blend opens with an attractive moderate black raspberry jam bouquet with a hint of new leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild black currant with notes of oak and hints of black raspberry and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate oak tannins are nicely prolonged and stick around for quite a while. This very nice Italian wine would be perfect with veal parmigiana. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Very intense ruby red colored. Bouquet is complex with blackberry notes, plum jam, cherries and licorice, with black olive and tobacco sensations. Powerful body, wide and soft tannin texture thanks to the good ripening in the vineyard and winery. Perfect with bean soups, grilled meat and medium aged cheese.
