Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine opens with a mild oak and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth with no edges at all. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry with hints of gentle oak, black currant, black raspberry, and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are elegant and very food friendly. This wine would be perfect with a filet mignon or Stu's steak appetizer. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby red in color with garnet reflections. Aromas of violets and vanilla, with hints of licorice. Velvety palate, with tart-cherry flavors and traces of spice. Well structured with supple tannins, superb concentration, and good acidity. Persistent finish.
