Wine Review: This salmon pink colored wine was my favorite Rose that I found on a recent trip to California. It opens with an attractive tangerine like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of light orange and peach. The finish is dry and very refreshing. This is an ideal summer wine to have poolside. It will appeal to both white and red wine lovers. Pair it with grilled scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine has a delicate and beautiful peach color with aromas of stone fruits, cherries, strawberries and a touch of citrusy grapefruit and lemon. In the mouth, it’s fresh, bright and a touch tart – think chilled on a hot summer day – with Bing cherry, peach and strawberry flavors with a twist of lemon. The finish is fantastically long and lingering. This versatile dry Rosé will pair with many different foods from pork and chicken to grilled veggies and salads…assuming there’s any left when the food comes out.
