Wine Review: This light yellow colored opens with a mild gingerbread, lychee, and lime like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied. Initially it is a bit racy with some zesty acidity. But it settles down nicely with some air. The flavor profile is a spicy peach and ripe Bartlett pear. There was also an interesting hint of brown sugar mixed in as well. The finish is dry and lingers slightly. This wine would pair very well with spicy pumpkin ravioli with a brown sage cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is our third vintage of Gewurztraminer. This flavorful wine begins with perfumed aromas of lychee fruit, sweet pineapple, papaya, and tangerine. It has a crisp, lively acidity with citrus and tropical fruit flavors of orange peel and mango. Our Gewurztraminer is slightly off dry and pairs well with spicy Thai foods or as a an aperitif.
