Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Shiraz from down under opens with a unique eucalyptus, new leather, mint, and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and cedar blend with hints of black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. This wine is food friendly and would pair nicely with a thyme infused pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is deep magenta in colour and has emerging aromas of blackberry, dark plums and spices, along with notes of meaty complexity. The palate is a bright amalgam of black fruits with delightful uplift provided by blueberries, spice and vanillin oak. There is great concentration of flavour combining with layers of fine tannins running across the length of the palate. A long cellar life is expected. Cuisine: Traditional roast pork with crackling.
