Wine Review: This dark garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with a spiced plum bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, round and mouthwatering. Like the nose, this wines flavor profile features ripe plum with notes of black pepper, black cherry and cinnamon. I also detected hints of minerality and oak in the background towards the finish. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with loaded pulled pork nachos. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine displays delicate wild strawberry and red cherry fruit along with hints of violet, underpinned by fragrant spices of cinnamon and clove, opening up to reveal a distinctive saline character. Powerful yet elegant, it possesses concentrated fruit and fine grained tannins, lifted by a lovely fresh acidity.
