Wine Review: This very nice offering from B.R. Cohn is dark red in color and opens with an inviting ripe black raspberry bouquet with hints of oak, dried tarragon, basil and black licorice. This full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon is smooth with ripe black raspberry flavors along with notes of oak, herbs and milk chocolate. I enjoyed the terrific balance and structure of this offering from the Olive Hill Estate Vineyard. I also enjoyed the pleasing dry tannins that fill the finish and eventually faded away nicely. I would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with a bone in ribeye steak. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: A ripe and masculine Cabernet Sauvignon, with generous amounts of black fruit, cassis and espresso with dark earthy undertones of forest floor and briar. An enticing bouquet of cigar box, cloves and cedar all wrapped with subtle hints of mocha and anise leading to a rich palate of warm caramel, complex yet firm tannins and a long lasting finish. Fantastic paired with grilled rib-eye with a black peppercorn and sage rub, tandoori lamb or Italian sausage lasagna with mozzarella and aged Parmesan.
