Wine Review: The light gold colored Pinot Gris based blend opens with a mild quince and Bartlett pear bouquet with hints of cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fresh. The flavor profile is a poached pear and vanilla cream soda blend with notes of light lemon tea. I also detected hints of malt in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. This wine would pair well with a pasta carbonara. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This is a delightful, dry white that is immensely drinkable. The fresh fruit character of green apple, pear and nuances of apricot broadens on the palate. A wine of beautiful minerality and purity. Light and refreshing, it has enough body and intensity to pair with a wide range of cuisines. The minerality and acidity make this a great wine for shellfish of any kind and delightful with roast chicken, turkey, or pastas with a light béchamel sauce. Also great with Thai cuisine.
