Wine Review: This translucent and red colored Pinot Noir from Au Bon Climat opens with a maraschino cherry and light loam bouquet with hints of raspberry, cedar, and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, smooth, and gentle. The flavor profile is black raspberry and cinnamon blend with notes of mushroom and dried tea leaves. We also detected hints of cedar, black cherry pit, and teaberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty fine tannins fade away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with beef stew or veal medallions. Enjoy - KWGTP
