Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant and attractive strawberry and red raspberry bouquet with hints of R.C. Cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, nicely round and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty stony minerality and red raspberry blend with notes of dried strawberry and star anise. I also detected hints of loam and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. I would pair this Pinot with crostini with duck confit and red onion jam or a duck cassoulet with sausage and pork. Enjoy - Ken
