Wine Review: This very light red colored Pinot Noir from Au Bon Climat opens with a ripe black cherry and cola bouquet with notes of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, and silky. The flavor profile is a black cherry and mild cola blend with notes of minerality and stewed red plum. We also detected hint of white tea. The finish is dry and subtly fades away. The Panel would pair this gentle Pinot with grilled red snapper. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Isabelle is a knockout every vintage. Why? It is comprised of only the best cuvees from 6 different vineyards. Consequently, it is consistently our top performing Pinot Noir year to year. Dried cherry, raspberry tart, spicy oak, and hints of earth and forest floor all emerge from the glass.
