Wine Review: This straw-colored white blend from Au Bon Climat opens with a ginger and honey bouquet with hints of lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and round. The flavor profile is Anjou pear with notes of lime zest. We also picked up some hints ginger, and fine minerality along with a touch of vanilla at the very end. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. The Panel would pair this white blend with Emeril’s Chicken Normandy. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bright and finely cut, Hildegard shows another side to Jim Clendenen's magic touch. Lemon peel, white flowers, white pepper and crushed rocks give the 2018 a striking aromatic top register to match its mid-weight personality.
