Wine Review: This pale garnet colored Pinot Noir with a rose pedal and red licorice bouquet with hints of new leather and truffle. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, delicate and juicy. The flavor profile is an oolong tea, pomegranate, and brown sugar blend with notes of cinnamon, red plum and cedar plank. The finish is dry and its flavors and pleasant acidity linger and last for a while. This Pinot would pair perfectly with a charcuterie platter. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: From one of the great Pinot vineyards of the world. The wine has a nose of perfumed red and black cherries, star anise and earth, feeling a touch youthfully reticent. The palate is silky and expansive with nuanced, spice-laced berry flavor layers energized by lip-smacking acidity, and it finishes very long and nuanced.
