Wine Review: This brink red colored Pinot Noir opens with a red cherry and orange marmalade bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and round. The flavor profile is stony minerality and red plum blend with notes of orange zest. We also picked up some hints of loam throughout. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. The Panel would pair this Pinot with German Jagerschnitzel. (Hunter Schnitzel with Mushroom Gravy) Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The fruit comes from the Bien Nacido Vineyard and Le Bon Climat Vineyard, both in the Santa Maria Valley. The wine shows off complex aromatics and layered flavors of cranberry, red berries, rose petals, and spice, signature characteristics of this wine growing region. A wonderful accompaniment to thick, oak-grilled pork chops, wild game, or Coq au Vin.
