Wine Review: This pale garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with a terrific and inviting bouquet featuring strawberry rhubarb, cola with hints of plum, black cherry, oak and sauteed mushrooms. I could smell this wine for hours. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between its fruit and acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty spiced plum and cola blend with notes of loam, oak and mushrooms. I also detected some hints of oolong tea and dried herbs. The finish is dry and flavors show nice length. This Pinot would pair well with a pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2017 is one of our best vintages. Rich and powerful, this well-structured wine has a darker ruby hue as well as a beautiful nose of cherry, dried cranberry, earthy forest floor, ground herbs, smoked earth. Named after Jim Clendenen's son.
