Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Au Bon Climat is yummy. It opens with an inviting cherry-cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between its fruit and acidity. The flavor profile is a very tasty strawberry and cherry blend with hints of red plum, cedar, cola and spice. The finish is drifts away nicely. This Pinot Noir is very food friendly and even gets better on day two. It was perfect with our Scottish salmon filet packets poached with Spanish olive oil, Sauvignon Blanc, lemon and vegetables on the grill. Cheers - Ken
