Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from the Bien Nacido Vineyard is very good. It opens with an inviting strawberry and blueberry bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, delicate, round and soft. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and cinnamon blend with notes of pomegranate and oregano. I also detected some chalky minerality throughout. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite a while. I would pair this Pinot with mini herb and lamb meatballs. Enjoy - Ken
