Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir is very good. It opens with a classic Burgundian bouquet featuring scents of ripe black cherry and red currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, savory and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mild blueberry and red plum blend with notes of gentle oak. I also detected hints of ripe strawberry towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Pinot Noir is very food friendly and would pair very nicely with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Named after Jim Clendenen’s son Knox, this wine is from the finest lots of Pinot Noir from the estate Le Bon Climat and Bien Nacido Vineyard since 1998.
