Wine Review: This pale straw colored Pinot Grigio from Italy opens with a wet stone bouquet with a hint of lime and Anjou pear. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused green apple with notes of lime. The finish is dry and its acidity lingers for a while after the wine is gone. This wine would pair well with steamed mussels with a garlic broth. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The appearance is that light, copper-tinged yellow-gold classic to the pinot grigio variety. Ripe tropical fruit adorns the nose, complemented by ripe apple and pear and enriched by refined hints of hawthorn and acacia blossom. A crisp acidity animates remarkably tasty fruit on the palate, and the wine displays a fine overall balance. Serving Suggestions: Roast poultry and rabbit, even lamb, grills, & stuffed meat dishes.
