Wine Review: This white gold colored Vermentino opens with a fragrant ginger and grapefruit bouquet with a hint of lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, slightly viscous and round. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear and chamomile tea blend with notes of ginger. I also picked up some hints of honey, stony minerality and white peach in the background. The finish is dry and subtle. I would pair this Vermentino with a baked walleye. Enjoy - Ken
