Wine Review: This slightly opaque dark purple colored Petite Sirah opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with a hint of black currant, tobacco, and pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and dusty. The flavor profile is an oak influenced black currant and elderberry blend. The finish is very dry and its sticky dusty tannins are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this wine with a blue cheese burger or roast rabbit with a mustard sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep purple in hue, this wine has brooding aromas of dark black fruit. This wine has a full mouthfeel, with rich flavors of chocolate and mocha, alongside bright fruit flavors of blueberries, blackberries, black cherry and cassis. Accessible now, this wine has excellent structure and should continue to age gracefully.
