Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a pleasant and appealing light oak and lemon bouquet with a hint of flint. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and a little rich. The flavor profile is a classic California styled Chardonnay. It displays a tasty oak influenced pear with notes of orange. I also detected hints of minerality and touch of lemon verbena. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This tasty Chardonnay would pair well with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli smothered in a light cream sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromatics of spiced oak, red apple, citrus and citrus blossom; palate is lush and layered with crisp acidity and flavors of citrus, apple and a touch of kiwi; long balanced finish.
