Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet from Sonoma County opens with a black cherry cola bouquet with hints of menthol and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a light black cherry with notes of mellow oak and a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. The panel enjoyed this wine and would recommend pairing it with veal Milanese. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: As with previous vintages, our 2009 Sonoma County Cabernet shines aromatically with rich, dark fruit and beautifully integrated notes of oak. As it opens up, there are layers of red berries, rose petals, black cherries, leather, mocha and mint. The palate is sleek and concentrated with dark fruit, spice, cola and cedar. The finish is framed by bright acids and big, juicy tannins.
