Wine Review: This ruby colored red blend opens with a mild and attractive black currant bouquet with a hint of red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry and oak blend with notes of minerality. I also detected hints of strawberry licorice and blueberry as well. The finish is dry and its moderate oak tannins are rather sticky and linger for quite some time. This wine is very food friendly and would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
