Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a stone dust and pomegranate bouquet with hints of loam and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and easy to drink. The flavor profile is juicy black plum and oak blend with notes of loam and black cherry. I also detected some hints of triple sec and black tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and very mild tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this versatile and gentle Pinot with pork roast. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Argyle Willamette Valley Pinot Noir highlights the elegance and complexity of the Willamette Valley AVA, showcasing the purity of fruit and lively texture the region has to offer. Delicate fermentation and gentle pressing enhanced this wine's silky mouthfeel. The wine showcases both dark and red cherry flavors, as well as black tea and spice accents. On the palate, fresh, vibrant acidity and polished tannins frame the flavors, while adding precise and persistent length.
