Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Chardonnay opens with a baking bread and oak influenced pear bouquet with notes of banana, pineapple and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle poached pear with nicely integrated mild oak. We also detected hints of pineapple, spice and green apple. The finish is dry and its flavors drifts away nicely. The Panel suggested with chicken cordon bleu or lobster with drawn butter.
