Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chardonnay opens with a mild pear and faint apricot bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, rather acidic, lively and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a green apple and Anjou pear blend with notes of minerality and white pepper. The finish is dry and its remains refreshing throughout. This wine would pair well with grilled lemon pepper chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Unoaked stainless-steel fermented Chardonnay boasts an array of kiwi, lemon-blossom and papaya notes with a uniquely earthy undertone. A flavorful medley of caramelized pear, banana peel, and star fruit follows, with a light hint of honey on the finish. This refreshing, medium-bodied wine shows crisp, food-friendly acidity. In an ironic twist of fate, this 100% Unoaked wine is crafted entirely from fruit sourced from the "Oak" Knoll sub-appellation at the southern end of Napa Valley.
