Wine Review: This very dark colored ruby Cabernet opens with an oak and mild black cherry bouquet with hints of inviting plum and floral notes. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and displays a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a dark chocolate, mild black cherry and black currant blend. I also detected some old oak as well. The finish is dry and its mild sticky tannins linger for quite a while. This is a nice burger wine and would be a nice option at your favorite pub. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Wild cherry aromas and hints of strawberry are balanced by subtle pine character with bourbon barrel notes in the background. Soft fruit at first—red raspberry preserves and blueberry pie—cedes to earthy Napa terroir and refined Cabernet tannins. Rich French oak contributes caramel, vanilla, and spice to the mid-palate, along with a medium-bodied depth. The bold Cabernet finish lingers with dried cranberry notes and an undercurrent of fresh acidity that will pair wonderfully with food. Pair this wine with a restaurant house burger topped with caramelized onions and jack cheese, or try it with homemade Bolognese lasagna to bring out this Cabernet's rich fruit flavors.
