Wine Review: This seasonal release would be a fun one for a Halloween party or to sip while giving out candy and sneaking a Hershey's miniature for yourself. It's gothic label and black cork add to the enjoyment. The color is deep dark purple and the bouquet is vibrant with blackberry, sweet dark cherry, coffee and spicy earthy notes. The wine is very smooth, full bodied rich and bold, with a slight sweetness. Flavors of sweet black cherry, mocha, blueberry, clove and dark plum. Blueberry jam and mild tannins linger in the long finish. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Apothic Dark seamlessly integrates dark fruit flavors of blueberry and blackberry with opulent notes of coffee and dark chocolate for a full smooth mouthfeel and a lingering mocha finish.
